Shipments Have Arrived

Come Visit Soon

Dear Friends,

Those of you who have been with us a while know there's never a dull moment at Ginger Blossom. This summer is proving to be no exception. Our staff is busily unpacking boxes from Nepal and Thailand and oohing and aahing over all the neat products we've chosen for the shop.

People are always asking, "When is the best time to visit Ginger Blossom?" The answer is, "Right now."

All but one of our containers is in, and we have an impressive selection of clothing, jewelry, and home accessories available now. We're also in the process of stocking the shop with furniture from India, and we have some really nice pieces at great prices.

Rug Season is upon us, and if you're thinking of floor coverings, plan to visit soon. It's a source of pride that we offer child labor free, handmade rugs at unbeatable prices, and we're confident we can help you find the perfect rug for your home. With that in mind, we will be receiving a new rug shipment in the next couple of weeks, and look forward to getting them out on the floor.

It's also the long anticipated season for fresh produce. I was in the grocery store the other day, and saw a sign proudly announcing "Locally grown in Indiana," and just shook my head at the audacity. My idea of locally grown isn't some corporate farm 305 miles away. Luckily, Ginger's brother, Gary, stocks the gazebo every morning with delicious, organic vegetables, grown right here on the farm, and is always willing to share his expertise with any curious or struggling gardeners. It doesn't get anymore local than that!

We look forward to seeing you soon,

Jean
