Camping out at the Hilton is far different than my usual camping out on the airport floor.  Air France made a valiant attempt to take off, with two wing de-icings, but after four hours on the tarmac, the flight was scrapped and AF put us up at the Hilton.

Originally we were slated to stay at a hotel in Rosemont, but the shuttle bus got stuck in snow.  The tram at the airport wasn't running, so we were bussed and it took us almost an hour to go from terminal 5 to terminal 2.  I struck up a conversation with the woman next to me on the bus, it turned out that she lives in Harvard, Illinois, and is next-door neighbor to my friend Sherri.
